I bought a lot of xbox one games and unfortunately the cover was missing for thief. I did a search but was unable to find. If anyone could help me out that would be dandy.

Just keep an eye out for it. I've been working on our XBOX ONE section.  I'll try and get it within the next few months.

I downloaded this one off covergalaxy a few months ago. It's just a raw and could use some cleanup.

Lol... I wish. I did buy from a single mom. Her kids were rough on the cases so I'll probably going to buy some blank cases and get them looking a little more presentable. It was pretty weird though because when she posted it online I saw all the cases and they had the inserts but when we met up. Thief was only a blank case.

Xbox One covers are the hardest scans I've tried cleaning. I came up with a system which includes keeping the covers under a stack of books for a week and scanning them at 1200 dpi.

Damn man that's intense. It would be bummer if their was hair or something that messed the scan up after having books on there for a week.

A hair is easy to fix, it's the reflections on the spine that is the issue. Plus the Gray color creates a lot of moire.

THIS

I scanned one XB1 cover and it turned out ... less than desirable. That gray color screws everything up

^^ i guess it does explain why some covers on ps2 platinum won't scan properly, even a single cube playchoice game does the same.
...
bioshock 2 360 metallic finish.
extermination ps2, the same.
really fuxxorz the scan feedback, i reckon it could damage the scanner array if attempted on the same rig too often, on cheap home scanners.
my HP deskjet really needs to go, just where do i get a cool ten K gbp at least for a something that demands professional treatment?  :'(
thanks for the heads-up, better to know, than to not.  :'(

Ummm, did I not say in that post that I got it from covergalaxy? I'm sorry I didn't go and check who uploaded it to another site that I visit only when I can't find what I'm looking for here.

To clean up flat color text on flat color BG I use gradient maps.

I ether try to get it Black and white and then sample both colors and use a gradient map to get it nice and clean.

Before doing that, use Noise>Despekal and a Surface or Smart Blur

A quick example, not the cleanest. I'm not home:
