- Pokemon "Silber" is missing the red Nintendo logo on the spine
- "Feuerrot", "Blattgrün" and "Smaragd" look kinda bright. I never owned the original boxes, are these also that bright?

Thank you for pointing out the missing logo. It was kinda hiding under another layer.

The front covers of those three games are not my creation (and are not scans either). They come from official, digital press-release images.
So yes, those colours should be accurate. :)

The original boxes look different, because they have a glossy, metallic finish. Which unfortunately is impossible to scan or recreate on screen.

I just saw his label and I don't like it either. Why stamp GameBoy over and over again? Just use the bars Larryinc64 already made.

It is a regular design choice.
By repeating the logo you can fill the whole backside label. (In addition the much smaller logos draw less attention to the eye and thus fit better into the image alltogether.)

Also I was not allowed to put anything else on the label instead...

I don't like larryinc64's labels for the same reasons.

@GokudoZ

Yes, on almost all the covers I have rewritten the text on the backside.
Only the two zelda advance games and lucky luke are scans.

The original font is called "Adobe Futura". It is a commercial font. The whole set costs about $600.

A similar, but free, font would be "Universalis". (You can download that one on this site: ->http://arkandis.tuxfamily.org/adffonts.html)

Thanks for the update and the new covers  :)

I noticed you didn't add the backspine on your last one.
So you won't include it in your future covers again?

For now, I will post both versions. One with and one without the backside bar.
Because only the one without the bar is currently being accepted by TCP.

(The first post will get updated with links to all the respectable folders.)

I am not sure yet on how I will handle this in the future, though.

TEMPLATE (version 1.0)

Since a few people have asked for it, I will provide the template I used to create my covers.

- The template fiits european Nintendo DS cases. (It is 27,8 cm x 11,6 cm, with a 1,9cm spine.)
- The template only contains PAL logos, wich are almost completely made with vector grafics!
- It can be used for Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games.
- Most of the grafics I have created myself, some of them I have salvaged from NeoRame's template (mentioned in the credits above).

Thank you so much for your work, I really enjoy your covers! Keep it up!
Can you tell me the size I have to print these?

€: Do you have Kirby's Dreamland 1+2 and Warioland 2+3+4 on your list?
€€: Did you make the cover for the GBA NES Classic Zelda games or just the spines?

The size of all these covers is 27,8 cm x 11,6 cm (with a 1,9 cm Spine).
They fit standard Nintendo DS Cases.

Yes, I probably will do Kirby's Dreamland and the rest of the Wario and Super Mario series.

I plan to do the whole NES Classics series.
