Nice work, great to see my PAL template parts be put to work.  ;D

Thank you.  ;D

Unfortunately I have not been able to download your template yet. (Due to bandwidth?)

My original plan was to recreate some of the cardboard-boxes for the games where I only owned the module. Later I decided to go with NDS-cases instead, since they are more durable.
That's why most of the logos I used come from NeoRame's collection of templates, which included a template for Gameboy boxes. Though I could not tell, if he created all of them himself or has just collected them into one package. (Maybe some of your work found their way into that collection?  :))

Box kinda sucks it seems with bandwidth limits, and me having so many covers seems to have ate it all up, I'm moving over to Mediafire.

Here is my template, the GBC bar is from mine, and there is some more PAL stuff included.

Hey PX0,

i actually really love these covers.  :) But is there a chance, you could also recreate the rest of the GBA Pokemon covers? (Saphir, Smaragd, Blattgrün, Feuerrot)
That'd be actually really nice!
Tried to do it myself, but it kinda sucks  ;D

Thank you, I am glad you like them.  :)

I still have some covers to do for my own collection, that I will post eventually. (Been busy with other stuff lately.)

I might do "Feuerrot" and "Blattgrün".
But "Smaragd" and "Saphir" have very detailed backgrounds and I could not find any good scans of them, yet.
Recreating them would take me a while. So, don't expect them any time soon. ;)

Hi PX0,

just like Michi77 I really love your covers! :) Actually the only I am really interested in are the Pokemon ones.
I couldn´t find the other German covers anywhere else and have absolutely no clue how to recreate them on my own.
It would be awesome if you completed the GBA titles! At least "Feuerrot" and "Blattgrün"  ::)
I tried to create a "Smaragd" cover based on yours of ruby and a scan I found on the internet. It doesn´t look good since I don´t know what I´m doing, but even this quality would be ok for me. (Can´t upload it somehow)
Maybe there are at least ok scans of saphire somewhere like the ones of emerald.

Just want to finish my collection  :'(

I don´t want to stress you. Take your time! I´m just making this comment to let you know that your work is very much appreciated.  :)
And that some people would be very glad if you eventually continued with the other games and not abandoned the Pokemon series!

Liebe Grüße Petsky

@Petsky

Thank you, as well.  ;D

===========

Quick Update on the spines (again...):

Upon printing some of the covers, I found, that the Gameboy-labels look better with a simple white background (instead of the grey-to-white fading background).
I wont update the covers all over again, but I will upload a couple alternative spine versions later.

===========

I have just finished "Feuerrot" and "Blattgruen".

It took me a while, but now the cover of the Saphir-Edition is done! >.<

I wanna give some credit to larryinc64, since I have used his rough template of the backcover's background as a starting point.

Most of the work went into placing all of those ~370 (!) bubbles and drawing the swirls.

Made two versions of "Mario's Picross"....

The second one is a custom-cover of the US-version, translated to german, since I kinda prefer the artwork of that cover.

UPDATES:

I have updated my covers a little bit.

The changes include:
- Like in larryinc64's template I have put a label on the backside of each cover as well, to keep the aspect ratio of the original boxes. (This mostly helps me, since I do not have to rearrange the elements anymore to make them look less stretched.)

- The gameboy labels on the spines now have an all white background (instead of the slight grey gradient they had before.) After printing some of the covers, I found this looks much better. If you have already printed some of my covers, you do not have to print the whole cover again. It is enough to just print the spines and putting them ontop of the old ones.

-------------------------------

With this cover, the pokemon (gameboy) series is complete now.

Hey PX0,

even if i don't realy like the idea of a label on the back of the covers, i printed most of your covers now again and i noticed some small things:

- Pokemon "Silber" is missing the red Nintendo logo on the spine
- "Feuerrot", "Blattgrün" and "Smaragd" look kinda bright. I never owned the original boxes, are these also that bright?

But thanks for your great work on all these covers  :)

I just saw his label and I don't like it either. Why stamp GameBoy over and over again? Just use the bars Larryinc64 already made.
