I'm just curious, I want to get one, but there is a few different versions and I don't know which one I should get.
Are they all the same just with different packaging? I would like a really nice Orchestral version w/ many songs and maybe one with just the original 16 bit music from the game. All the ones I've found also have a very wide range in cost too sooooo idk...

Any help on identifying the differences between them would be greatly appreciated.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

The cost difference is likely because some are legit, while others are bootleg.

Unlike games, it's a tough to tell a bootleg CD at a glance. I've got a handful of bootleg game soundtracks. Since they're CDs, and they only consist of a rip from a legit copy, they sound identical.  So you at least don't need to worry about that, but rather which version of each soundtrack you want.

i would say get an Orchestral version  i have a cd that came with Chrono trigger on Ds had a pretty good  full orchestra version  but i was only a few tracks i want to get a complete OST  there was a recent release that had remixed arrangements from Chrono Trigger and Cross . i liked that but in some ways its very different than the original work  ,

here is a sample of the new OST   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daHOC_HlxaA
