I think they look better in their original long boxes.  It's been a dream of mine to eventually make reproduction long boxes, but there is so little art out there, so for now I'm going with DVD cases.  It works and I like the uniformity.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Right on, those look pretty cool! Thanks man. I am in the same boat, I wish everything could be in their original boxes, but all of my Sega CD/ Saturn games are all in the clear DVD cases, so these will do.

Also, I noticed you have that 8-bit beer, extra awesome! Wanted to try that out, but could not find a way to get it down to California

Ha ha. Yeah, I'm using one to hold up the DVD cases.  It's decent beer.  I probably won't get it again, but the box and cans are pretty cool.  I need to try the 16-Bit beer sometime.

I would also prefer my Sega CD and Saturn games in their original cases, but it got to the point where it was just too hard to find replacements.  I found a website selling blue DVD cases that are a perfect match for the blue Sega CD covers, and some yellow cases that are a close match for the 32X Sega CD.

Didn't even know they sold 16-bit beer, wish the local Bevmo would carry it. HOLY CRAP those look amazing! I wish I didn't buy 2 boxes worth of the clear cases, I'd much rather have these. What site did you find them from?

I've bought a lot from them:
blue DVD cases for Sega CD
yellow DVD cases for 32x Sega CD
  white DVD cases for Saturn
black DVD cases for 3DO, Japanese Saturn and PCE
CD jewel cases for PS1 and DC

I've been happy with everything except for the black DVD cases.  They were a much cheaper quality then the blue, yellow and white cases and they have a pretty strong smell.  I would probably look for black DVD elsewhere.

I will also mention that you should pay attention to what has free shipping.  A case of 50 DVD cases may be $20 and a case of 100 may be $40 and you could say that's the same price per case.  However, the 100 cases have free shipping and the 50 cases might have $15 of shipping just by themselves. In that example it's a no brainer to buy the case of 100 assuming that doesn't give you 95 more cases then you need.  ;)
