I'm not questioning the tech, but rather its validity and value to the gaming community (i.e. I don't think it matters and I don't think it will make a big splash in the market. Ever.)

I voted other because I could have voted for more than one. I like the idea behind VR and I have yet to be able to try it. And before I form a solid opinion on it I would have to try it first. But I do agree that current hardware is not up to snuff yet. But that's alright because I'm not an early adopter, ever.
