Starting a new collecting quest for 2016
N64 Guy:
Three more off the list. For the low price of $73
Megatron:
Ah Resident Evil...back in early 1997 I bought my first Saturn BECAUSE of Resident Evil. The box touted that it had "an all new monster" - or something to that effect - and being a huge fan of the game, I picked it up. This was before I had the internet, and I knew absolutely NO ONE with a Saturn, so all I had was the box to fill me in...
Then I played through the game and discovered the new monster is basically just a red hunter. Looks pretty much the same, acts identical.
I was...disappointed.
At least I got a great system out of it.

It's my understanding that the extra cost associated with the durable disc drive is what caused Sega to go a cheaper route with the Dreamcast which was the primary reason behind the DC's less then stellar reliability.

It's typically being known as terribly unreliable. I know I've had to replace a number of drives/consoles over the years. In fact, I keep extras around just in case :(
