The Sega Saturn is one of my all time favorite systems and I'm very proud of my own collection. I'm not saying this to be mean but your collection consists of some of the least desirable games the system has to offer. Often, cover project members will post their collections. I always see tiny Saturn sections. However, their tiny collections usually have the best games the system has to offer.

Imagine someone say they're going to start collecting N64 games and they purchased Madden, Superman, Star Wars Pod Racing, WCW Nitro, War Gods, Army Men,  South Park Rally and 50 other games of the same calibur ... But they miss Zelda: OOT, Golden Eye, Mario 64, Banjo, Conker, F-Zero, Mario Kart 64, Blast Corps, etc...

Go after the games that help define the Saturn. Quality or quantity. You only need to look at a top 10 list to get started. Just my 2 cents.

In his defense, he is going for a full set, so he will have those games eventually.  My suggestion was to get the expensive games first and focus on the cheap stuff later, but everyone can collect how they wish to.  Based on the pictures I've seen of his N64 collection, if his goal is to get a full set, he is probably going to do it.

I'm really only following this because I'm curious how quickly he will do it.

I didn't bother to read his motive/Goal. My bad. However, you're right. The games that are expensive are jumping in price by the month. I purchased Magic Knight Rayearth last year for $130. This year, it's well over $200. The cheap games have stayed cheap but the more desirable games are out of control. I almost have a complete Saturn Collection. All the expensive games are out of the way... except for freaken Winning Post. I'm down to buying the crap titles now.

I hope you have a few bags of popcorn, it may take a while :)
On my side, I'm following this to see how much time it will take him to install the baseboards and door frame. Which one will be done first: Saturn complete collection or these  ???  ;D

I'll have the set done before I get around to doing the baseboards and ceiling. The reason I'm sticking with cheap titles right now is because of the cdn dollar for every 1 US dollar I spend its $1.30 Canadian which when you spend $300 us on one game it's almost $430 cdn and I really don't want to spend that much on one game right now. My avg paid per game right now is $13.17
