Been wanting to try this game for a while.  Was very happy to find a physical copy for cheap.

Curious how you feel about the trio. Let us know when you've played them all. I loved all 3, but especially Journey and Flower. Great narrative with VERY little going on. Wish more games were that sublime...

Right now it's too early to saw as I only got to play for a few minutes (more of  test to make sure it worked since it was bought used).  But it really seems right up my alley.  I love these games with little to no dialogue.  Games like Ico or Limbo are just so calming.  It's almost like taking a well needed break from more traditional gaming.

Speaking of Limbo, I bought it a while back and loved it.  I played it most of the way through, and then due to circumstances unrelated to the game, I wasn't able to play it for a while and I sort of forgot about it and never finished it.  Well the other night I figured I would jump back in.  About 3 minutes later I had the game beat.  Kind of funny that I was so close to finishing the game in the first place and just forgot about it.  Luckily enough time has passed that I can probably play it again from the start.

I've been thinking about importing the PS4 version.  Whish they would have released the physical version in the US...

Importing the PS4 version of what?  Limbo?  If so, it's available in hard form on the 360.

Sorry, I meant the PS4 version of Journey Collectors Edition

Wow, didn't know they did a Ps4 version  :o

Finally got a working Master System at a reasonable price ($40).  I'm very pleased with the condition - the plastic covering the red area as well as the bottom was still mostly intact, although the top left corner had peeled near the reset button.  Should be easy to clean off the residue.  Also picked up a couple of games.  Now I can finally play my Master System games on a real TV instead of on a Game Gear.

The Slap Shot is apparently the Canadian variation, with a multi-lingual back (like the one here on the site), and a new UPC sticker covering the original European one (kind of like Sega did with some of the late U.S. releases).

Pickups from a Toy show yesterday.

Any chance of a high quality scan of Sonic Chronicles?  ;D

The ones I've found aren't great so I haven't printed one for my collection yet.

Yeah, I'll try and get it scanned for you.

Looks like Mel had already done it at some point.  Search is your friend :P

Nice pickup.  You won't be disappointed with it.  Have you checked for which built in game it has?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

And you got the harder to find original control pad with the screw in stick.  Nice.

Good point.  I didn't see that.  I have the same controller, but none of the screw in inserts for it.  :-[

No built in game.  The oldest models didn't come with a game built in.  It just boots to an instructional screen when powered on without a cartridge inserted.

I like that the controller came with the stick, but I still prefer to just use the d-pad without the stick.

I'm happy that I now finally have every Sega console (except the Nomad, but that's not really a separate console since it doesn't have games designed just for it). I bought a SMS around a year ago, but it had a bad controller port.  This is the first one I've found locally (and for a good price) since then.

Are you sure?  My SMS boots to an instructional screen when turned on without a cartridge as well.  I have to hold A, B and Up on the D-pad at the same time to launch Snail Maze which was the built in game on my system.

If it works and you get Snail Maze, I dare you to tell me it isn't the best game you've ever played.  ;)

I've had a Master System for a loooooong time that I picked up at a garage sale for $5 with 5 or 6 complete games.... I tested it to make sure it worked but never really played it much.... I had no idea that it had an internal game. How do you get to play it?
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

I'll have to check to see if mine has "Snail Maze" built in.

I remember getting a SMS new when it first came out in the U.S., but I don't recall a built in game.  Maybe I just didn't know how to access it.  It stopped working a few months after I got it, so I exchanged it for another which had "Hang On" built in (and was promoted as such).
