scored silent hill 4 the room for ps2 (PAL-EUR) for three gbp.
i'll take a scan of it later.
TCP has sh3 english already, which is nice.
looking at my sh2 original relz, and i aint got the foggiest on how i'm gonna scan that shit?!  ???
same for any of the box types, including those goddamn steelbook housings.
got the complete RE series for ps2, and re4 original relz (special edit/BS) has a metal case, same for one of my copies of area-51.
do have re4 on platinum too, but it breaks continuity... :P

I got my repro's in!

Final Fantasy III, Mother 1 (Earthbound) and Chrono Trigger! (PAL).

Pretty cheap. Cost me $18 USD each for the NES and 30 USD for the SNES. I'll be getting more for sure!

After a busy holiday it's going to be a slow month or 2 lol but I did manage to pick up these few items...

Mario Maker pin set was from best buys promotion a while back.

Ganondorf was found at toys r us...I was in shock to see it there lol same with shovel knight amiibo.  Only had 3 in stock when I went there late last night, originally had no intention of searching for it but figured if it's there...why not?

White 8-bit link....never knew it existed lol apparently Walgreens has an exclusive line of figures :/ I got really lucky that the only Walgreens I knew of had this 1 single figure...

was out earlier, bumped into a friend (and chewed fat) and i suggested he goes back to my place and put the kettle on. (gave him the key.)
on my way home, passed him and returns my key, said something cropped up.  ???
when i got in, i shit my pants, saw this black object sat on my sofa, thought it was a briefcase nuke.  :o (i'm NOT joking either, cleared my insides out in NO time flat. i was stoned.)
looked closer, and it was a halo reach LTD-EDIT, he hid the outer sleeve in a cupboard, so the black brick was all that showed. (  >:( got me real good, i'll wrap this thing around his...inventive skull. i'm happy with boredom, not coronaries.)
the image is a stock one off the web, and this version is USA:

http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/halo/images/6/69/HaloReach_Limited_View2.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100808035511 one thing my PAL-EUR version is missing, is the unit insignia patch (NO problem, FREE is FREE!)  seems complete otherwise.
the black airpocket bag for halseys journal had a sticker seal on it (insignia, and it seems to be opened with the greatest of care, no damage to the decal, which is sweet!  ;D
has other docs, like soldier medical profiles, etc.  :D
...
too old for japes, unless i dole em out.  :P

Been wanting to try this game for a while.  Was very happy to find a physical copy for cheap.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Those are pretty tame compared to your last toy show pickup.  ;)

oh, man!
oh man, oh man, oh man!
scored big-time!
five gbp got me for the wii and ps3:
1, redsteel. [wii]
2, devil may cry - HD collection. [ps3]
3, final fatasy XIII-2. [ps3]
4, tales of graces F. [ps3]
...
got FF13 part two already on the 360.
on this ps3 disk, is a permanent marker in crimson, a written number '2'.
managed to get the bulk of it off, but the ink-scar remains. (looks light pink now.)
at least it dumped/played as expected.  :D
DMChd and FF13p2t was thrown in free.
DMChd label has a decal tear near the lower revealing white paper, a layer stripped where the disk id is.
black marker could fill it, but as a scan, would be shit!  :'( (i'll supply it anyway later, you guys can figure it out. disk id will be supplied also.)  :P
aye, decent haul today.
still waiting for friend to respond to voice mail for his 'gift' i've got one for im right here. >:(

Curious how you feel about the trio. Let us know when you've played them all. I loved all 3, but especially Journey and Flower. Great narrative with VERY little going on. Wish more games were that sublime...

I got this last month and played Journey... WOW, what a unique game. Everything is well crafted from the beginning until the end. It even helped calming my kids down a bit, they just sit and watch like if they were part of the adventure... or journey ;)

Right now it's too early to saw as I only got to play for a few minutes (more of  test to make sure it worked since it was bought used).  But it really seems right up my alley.  I love these games with little to no dialogue.  Games like Ico or Limbo are just so calming.  It's almost like taking a well needed break from more traditional gaming.

Speaking of Limbo, I bought it a while back and loved it.  I played it most of the way through, and then due to circumstances unrelated to the game, I wasn't able to play it for a while and I sort of forgot about it and never finished it.  Well the other night I figured I would jump back in.  About 3 minutes later I had the game beat.  Kind of funny that I was so close to finishing the game in the first place and just forgot about it.  Luckily enough time has passed that I can probably play it again from the start.

If you like calming, then this will be perfect for you. You literally can't die. It's so stress-free.
