| I'm Customizing Some Games |

Decided that some of my Zelda games and a couple Pokemon games needed a bit of a facelift, I took to Amazon and eBay, because dammit, all Zelda cart games need to have gold shells, and Pokemon carts need to be colored! Managed to score myself a Link to the Past and SNES cart back labels at Retro Game Cases and a gold-molded SNES cart on eBay. So far, so good. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand the fun stops there. For the life of me, I could not find any custom color 3DS cart shells or gold NES ones.I found several colored NES ones, but they were, more or less, shit. Google pretty much failed me, so did RetroUSB. Hell, if I had some more money and he said okay, I'd commission Wiggy to do it. I guess what I'm asking is... Does anyone here know of someplace I SHOULD be looking? |

That, in my opinion, is supporting the enemy. Why pay someone for that stuff when you could do it for yourself for practically nothing? You could have just taken a crappy snes game and painted the cart gold. That's the way mine is and it looks really nice. All thanks to Wiggy. |

Besides, eventually any paint that's put on a cart of just about any type would start to wear out. AT least with custom color molded ones, that won't happen. |

The painted carts I have still look superb. No wear on them whatsoever. It's either in my system, or in it's case. So it's not like literally play with the game cart so there is very little handling involved. Just my opinion though. |
