Joe & Mac 3 came out in PAL territories?! I didn't even know that! Lucky Europeans! I might have to hunt down a copy.

Yeah it is the same game like Joe and mac 2 lost in the tropics only with a 3 over here in europe and Japan because they thought that congos caper was the second Joe and Mac then   little confusing I know... and it is quite rare!

OK that is your opinion but as far as I know all 3 versions are slightly different

Apparently in Japan too, Congo's Caper was Joe & Mac 2, and Joe & Mac 2 is #3. Hmm, learn something new every day. In Japan, I think the games are translated something like this:

Joe & Mac: Caveman Combat
Caveman Combat 2: Rookie's Adventure
Caveman Combat 3: Starring Joe & Mac, After All
