I was just a little annoyed after the film how I wasted 2 hours and didn't get much out of the film. I think Han Solo death was lazy. You're "opinions" and yes they ARE opinions because only you feel that way. I don't feel that way, I won't feel that way. You trying to tell me it's dumb and that I shouldn't like something because you don't without any real definitive reasons is plain moronic. Han Solo's death cowardly? It more brave that he stood in front of his son hoping to bring him home. So not cowardly. Lazy story writing? Maybe, it could have been written better but that's besides the fact that it's a whole different company making the film and I think there is millions of people that think that Disney did a good job. Since we all know that George Lucas totally dropped the ball on 1, 2, and 3. You can say how much you didn't like the movie, and that's it. Done. |

Done. --- End quote --- What do you mean Lucas dropped the ball on 1, 2, and 3? He created the franchise. Why couldn't he have wrote this? It just felt really awkward to have a Star Wars sequel come back after decades and see Solo dying so abruptly. What I mean by that is I didn't think he did anything good in the movie. He seemed uncharismatic and then off he was. He should have been a little smarter than to think that he could just talk his son out of it. That's a bit naive. If the force is with him, then he should have known better. We waited all this time just to see that. The original Han Solo would never go out like that. It ruined his legacy IMO. |
