It does have a nicer screen to play ps1 and PSP games on.
That's what I primarily use mine for.

It's sad really. The Vita is an incredible system that still should have more of a life to it. SONY is squandering it. It gives me flashbacks to Minidisc.

And just like minidisc, the Vita was the wrong product at the wrong time.

There simply isn't a market for a "serious" or "adult" portable console at the moment, and that's likely because everyone who is older than 12 or not a big nerd plays games on their phones and tablets. Their target market is already satisfied with their current gaming device (their phone).

If they had done some licensing with Disney, then they'd probably be selling billions of the things right now.

Ya after Christmas, I think I'll pick me up one. I have 3 PS Vita games to play but no Vita to play them on lol.

About the memory card still not being cheap enough, I'm pretty sure I can get a good sized one and I normally don't keep but a few games on at a time anyway. (I say that from experience with the PSP, may not be the same for Vita.)

I do agree with all this and even though that is sadly correct for most, I can't stand playing games on my phone/tablet. It's just not comfortable plus the lack of buttons and having your fingers in the way of the screen bug the hell out of me. I also want more hardcore/more in depth games like the ones I listed. (Ya I know minecraft and terraria are in phones/tablets but they suck to play on touch screens)

I enjoy playing games on my phone, as long as they're designed to work well with the interface. I sure as hell don't think that street fighter on a touch screen makes any sense at all and it blows my mind that it's even available. The whole ghost button thing covering half of the damned screen is enough to kill it for me.

I probably put 30+ hours into cut the rope when it came out. Loved that game!

YES ;D

That was definitely my favorite physics based puzzle game.

Well don't get me wrong, I do play games on my phone, it's just not my favorite way to play and my hands cramp up. Also like I said, I don't like my fingers being in the way of my screen.
I just cannot bring myself to spend money on many games that I will never own.

Sorry I'm a hard ass, hard headed, elitist. Lol.
