Death to the PS Vita!!??
palmer6strings:
I'm sorry man. I can't help it. I thought I gained a resistance to stupid, but there apparently is new strains out there that I haven't build an immunity to yet.

The best experience is on Android and IOS. This is why smart phones are important, or another reason. Games, games, games.

Really dude? Go fuck yourself with your god damned smart phone bs. I'm tired of your superiority complexed attitude when sadly everyone that's been here for longer than a few months knows you're a worthless moron.
Smart phones are outdated pieces of shit before they even hit the market. Best experience is on iOS and Android? Really, as I've said I can't stand playing games on my phone. Or are you too fucking blind to read what's already need said.
I asked for peoples advise on what they thought of the PS Vita and your "opinion" is not only worthless in this situation it's down right disrespectful how you always come off.
Man no wonder why people go postal.

Smart phones are outdated? So what are you supposed to use? A phone that isn't smart? That doesn't make any sense. You have not tried enough games on your phone. Try Phoenix HD or Darius Burst. You also got Mortal Combat X and Angry Birds plus much much more. Yes Vita is good for exclusives but there won't be any more PS handhelds so if you wanna keep playing new handheld games you gotta get a smartphone. Look even if you're one of those people that can't stand a smartphone, please just get one that is designated for games. Don't be like my friend.
Don't be mad. Just think about it, I'm not trying to argue.

Matter of opinion...one of which I completely disagree. There's just something about mobile games that to me never really feel like real games. I don't know how to explain it but it almost feels like they're lifeless and no matter what I do I never get into it like I do when I play my gba/ds/3ds/vita/etc etc.
I remember a few years ago I bought my first and only mobile game, Armor of Vay. It was a sega cd game that I have always wanted to play and not owning a sega cd myself I figured this was a great alternative. The game was decent enough, played it and beat it...but I did mostly because I paid for it. Since I left IOS and moved onto android...and essentially lost the game.
I'm sure that there are some really good games on the mobile platform but it's just not a platform I particularly enjoy playing games on. So it could end up being the future for most, I don't believe that it'll replace dedicated gaming handhelds.
Also, with current trends, no...not everyone needs a smartphone. People hesitate to buy a 200+ handheld so I'm sure that there will be a lot more hesitation on buying a smartphone that costs 700+ every couple years just to play mobile games.

Oh no, smart phone games have advanced. This isn't like the past when there was only Pac man to play. You have all kinds of games you can play and they even sell controllers you can use too if that's what you want. It's not to say that Vita has no games, but I firmly believe that you have to have both to compliment each other. I don't even know how to say it, I just think you gotta try phone games.

are you a member of BCG and/or xtras?
can't be, this shit simply wouldn't wash, from taking the piss, to BANNED in less than ten seconds for the thrice interrupted.
this subject is specific, and very clear.
not a smart phone one.
i'm NOT part of this outfit, but there seems to be a pattern, one i don't mind crushing by voicing my dissent.
please, stay on subject. :-*

Whilst support for the vita has been more of a trickle, than a torrent of releases, there is definitely enough of a back catalogue now worth picking up to make it worth owning one.
Lots of exclusives. Tons of indies. A few HD collections/ports.
IMHO, It's worth having for lumines, wipeout, and broken sword alone. And if you've got psplus, and been remembering to click buy every month on the freebie vita games, then you will have a stack of free stuff you can now download and discover.
I haven't looked into CFW for a while - when I did, I decided I'd rather keep it stock, and use all the functions, psn activity, and of course trophy support. I'll probably hack it or get a 2nd hacked one closer to the end of the vita life.
