on subject, doing some tidying up, and found my old iomega zip disks and drive for computer parallel sockets.
128m capacity per disk, similar to that thing the n64 got a brief shot at, and the same drive was planned for the dreamcast, but never materialized.
wow, 128m for a bitchin amount of floppy images, a virtual removable low-level harddisk.
at least for a500's anyway.

I got a new console shelf, it's 2 Target wire shelves combined together. I did not get shelf liners yet, I'm using cardboard from the box.

I still need to hook everything up, I need to get a HDMI splitter, with HCTPwhatever removal, and a splitter to go to the capture card and TV, as the Capture Card pass though does not work when it's not powered.

I may toy with layout more, I think the PS3 can use more ventilation, same with the 360. The Gamecube and Gen32x don't need to be there.

The Genesis/Pwrbase/CD is on top due to it needing the most vertical space. The Famicom could use more space, I may move the Disk System.

Awesome!  I love randomly naming the Duo R when someone asks me what consoles I have. "Oh, an NES, Sega Genesis, PS2, PC Engine Duo R..."

Also, I highly recommend getting an extension cable for the controller.  They are a standard old Mac cable and are super cheap / easy to find compared to the US TG extension cables.
