Is there a way to print covers that are only available in UGC size so that they fit and are correctly proportional in a Shadowfox Genesis case without using any extra software?

What program do you print with?  Does that program offer any type of resizing?

All I do is change the dimensions to 10.625 inches by 6.75 inches at 300 DPI and hit print.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I just have/use the print preview program.

It only gives a scale and a scale to fit option.

Just change the resolution to 3188x2020 pixels. If the program you're using won't let you change the resolution it's time to graduate to something better. Download Gimp, it's free.

I know this is an ancient thread, but Adobe CS2 is free and just as capable as their newer versions. There's no excuse for not having adequate software anymore when Adobe products can be had for nothing, and legally.

Just FYI, I was able to do this same method successfully with PhotoScape. It is also free.

Just in case anyone else comes across this thread trying to figure out how to do this on a Mac:

Tools Menu > Adjust size

Preview is also a basic photo editor with tools for cropping resizing and the like. Adjusting size is also PPI aware if the the file stores the information in the EXIF, so you can adjust the size in inches or centimeters instead of pixels there, which is nice assuming the EXIF is set correctly (which it is for the UGC covers). If not, you can still switch the units in the dialog to pixels and do it that way.

No need for extra apps to do it.
