Hi,

I'm new here, but I've been follwing the comunity for a while now. Love it!

I don't have an extensive game collection, in fact i have an odd game from diffent systems.
I was thinking about displaying them in a shelf and found out about UGC's but inability to hold NES games was a huge bummer and even though it's only a couple a games that i own (for now at least), my rare but strong OCD kicked in and I am not too keen on butchering the UGC's. Other option is the shadowfox option exclusively for the NES, whitch I am really a fan off !! Great job !!
But I wasnt kidding about my rare but strong OCD..every mm matters to me..i know..

So my question is..
Would there still be a need for a true universal case that would fit all the the cartridges available? NES included. With No stress points to manuals of even cartridges themselves. No scraping paints of Zelda, and no ratteling around. And most importantly with the exact outside dimensions of UGC, for that uniformity for those who already invested in previosely available case options. Oh and no changes needed to all the covers already available here (awesome library if i may say).

So i got the idea, just wondering..  ???

Thanks for reading and sorry for intrusion.  ;)

You gotta start from somewhere.

I think we prefer separate cases over universal cases as universal cases by their nature will always have the problem of never being perfect with any cart or manual type always having to compromise and requiring butchering.

Besides the need to alter cover dimensions is an excellent excuse to fix the flaws and quality of existing covers, prime example is shenske's CGC covers that he just released.

And Shadowfox will is making new case types, I believe SNES is next.
And he has already made perfect Genesis clamshell replicas and Universal Game Boy Cases too.

Thanks for reading and sorry for intrusion.  ;)

Asking questions is always welcome to certain point which you did not cross.

The problem is, if NES fits, then most everything else will slide around inside.  The only way I can think to easily resolve the matter would be breakaway tabs.
