Printer vs ink question
Gutling:
I need a new printer, mine is draining me dry on ink. its a cannon inkjet and has 2 cartridges, one for black and 1 for c/m/y.
Who has a nice printer they can recommend that the ink is not an arm or leg, or you can use aftermarket refills? (My cannon has some chip on cartridges that after a certain time/uses it tells it empty even if its not, and cant refill it because cant reset chip)

Personally, I use am HP printer and have signed up for their 'Instant Ink' program, which costs 3.99 a month for 50 prints. It doesn't matter how much ink each print uses, and they automatically mail more ink to you when you're low. It's not 5 star quality prints, but they look pretty damn good with the right paper (Red River). I think a bunch of people here like the quality of Kodak printers.

Color? That's a fantastic deal if so. Local place by me does I think 55 or 60 cents for color on legal sized paper. Which certainly isn't horrible, but it adds up if you're doing a lot. I bought my own in printer in anticipation of doing my 300+ NES covers in one go. Higher upfront cost, but in the end I'll be saving.
