This has probably been asked before, but to Game Gear carts fit in Vita cases?

I recently found a Game Gear at Goodwill for $10 and I got a few Sonic games, and I wanted to case them up.

I was toying around with the DS case, but I hate cropping the art. Maybe DVD cases will work well, or even mini DVD if it is thick enough.

They almost fit into Cassette Cases, there are poly cases, but unfortunately have no place to put art.

I just checked.  It looks like they are too thick to fit in a Vita case.  It's hard to tell because you would have to cut out everything on the inside to try it.  I would say it's a no go.  I modified my Shadowfox cases for my Game Gear games.  It worked pretty well for me.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I really hope if the ever get made, that they are the size of psp cases. (Just slightly longer to fix the manual.)

In your picture, your GG covers all seem to be red. Is that something you did by choice? I'd have to have mine all purple or it bug the crap out I me.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

It's sort of a magenta color.  Compare it to the red Genesis case right above it and it helps a little.  The lighting in my basement is terrible and that was an old picture, so it probably doesn't look like its true color.

It would be cool to see larger cases that would properly hold the manual, but I doubt that I would buy them.  I really don't see myself buying many more GG games.  I'm not really that into the system.  Also, I only have 3 manuals for the games I have, so holding manuals isn't that big of a deal.

I can try one tonight, but I don't think the manuals would fit in them.

Game Gear manuals are too wide for psp cases. I think a game would just barely fit, but the UMD holder is in the way, so I couldn't close it.

A long time ago, my mother found a game gear set with a few manuals at a garage sale. So I'm personally hoping for Shadowfox to create cases that fit them.

PSP cases?, theres a thread on here somewhere...

short answer, not without case modification, and then just barely...

- case wont close properly...

the carts are just too thick, so i dont think Vita cases would work either...

Oh, I forgot to check.  Glad someone else did.  I didn't want to cut up any of my Vita cases, but I'm 99% sure you would run into the same problem with the case not closing all of the way.  I would stick with Shadowfox cases or UGCs if you really want to waste shelf space.  :P

Well it seems it's DS or nothing for the time being. Here is my consept for a template. I don't plan on getting much for the system, only Sonic games for collection purposes.

There's actually a lot of those.  ;)  But they tend to be pretty cheap.
