I've never really watch Pat much, so I don't have a big opinion on him, but I don't think his show is for me.  I only watched it because the cart was from St. Louis and it's been a pretty big story in the local gaming community.

I will say however, that I agreed with their assessment that starting the auction with a ower price has a better chance to get big dollars.  I've always had better experiences with low starting auction bids compared to high BIN prices.  But I also understand that it's a bigger risk that way, and maybe he was too nervous about it.  Either way, he's going to get a big pay day out of this no matter what.  I just think it's awesome how big this story has become.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Yeah, Bear78 struck gold. I still can't believe the guy that sold it to him didn't verify if it was NTSC or PAL.

I think he meant minutes. Lol
In my 20s, I did a lot of binge drinking. Now, I just like the taste, but I don't want to feel the effect. Non-alcoholic doesn't taste the same, so I drink a small amount.

One final thing, as much as I like drinking, alcohol causes a process called aromatase, which is the conversion of free testosterone into estrogen. An excess of soy and dairy will do this too. All 3 can be good for you in very small amounts, but too much is not. Testosterone levels slowly drop after 30 and I'm a bit fanatical about doing everything I can to slow the inevitable.

I was talking with a few guys over the weekend and we were wondering if the seller knows yet.  I mean, if he is into the gaming community he has to have seen the forum conversations by now, but maybe he doesn't do forums, so who knows.

But yeah, he knew that Stadium Events was a big dollar game, but he assumed that it was the PAL version.  Why wouldn't you double check?

but he assumed that it was the PAL version.

My assumption is that he got confused as the game is one of those that have the seal of quality wrong way around, I mean PAL hass oval and US has round when normally it's the othe way around.

Two new games came in the mail today.  Twin Eagle and Twin Cobra for the NES.

I guess I'm not the only one to think his/her price is way too high

The price isn't absurd at all.

Whoever Pat's sidekick is doesn't seem to put that much thought into what he says. He always sounds like a forum troll complaining about current game prices to me.

tbh $7000-$8000 is a good price, $10,000 is pushing the boat maybe to the middle of the ocean

I thought that two sold this year through Nintendo Age for $10,000 each.

Thanks.  I wish the SD card didn't stick so high out of it, but not a big deal.  I just need to work on finding a cover for it.  The label came with it which was nice.  I just had to make the actual cart for it.  I cut the opending a little too wide, but it looks ok.  Only 3 Everdrives left, but two of them are the two most expensive ones.  :-[

^^ seriously didn't know that was a set...
may have to TROLL the private tracker with these, and take a whacking sh*t on my account in the process.
it's true what they say: when something is opposed on a grand scale without so much a a word to back it, to be sent into the red like no tomorrow, means, it was REALLY interesting and worthwhile, their silent presence proves it.  ;D
