Here in the same picture are also the 2 European copies which have that yellow border which made me order the US version which IMHO option looks nicer, and Chibi robo.

Hmm watching the DK/Bowser pictures made realize that Normal has bronze pedestal and Dark has silver pedestal... so maybe further Ultimate editions with gold pedestal is in the plans...

He posted it in our local facebook retro gamer page BEFORE posting it on NA.  So they got a hand-me-down version too.

It just blows my mind how close this was to me, but I was not able to make the toy show this year.  It could be worse though........ I know several people who saw this, and even a few who held it in their hands and passed on it because they assumed it was too good to be true or believed the seller that it was the PAL version.

Yeah, it's still crazy to me too.  I still can't believe what I found and almost put it right back in the box thinking it's way too good to be true. I was crazy nervous the whole time I was trying to figure out what I had in my hands and opening the cart up to check the board.

I really don't like that they forced me to buy the game when pre-ordering online, especially since I could have walked into any GS and grabbed one without, AND I got it 3 days after it came out. Maybe I can return the game to a local store.
