Snagged em both.  Got the PS4 version at 10am... was able to add both to my cart but by the time I clicked check out (literally less than 2 minutes after 10) the Vita version was sold out.

Went back at 545 to try for Vita version... f5'ing every minute or so until it popped up, dove in, snagged it, good to go.

Was exceptionally interested in this one since I love me some Oddworld.

They always have 2 batches. The total amount of games is split in half to sell them in 2 batches.

This was a third batch, as they didn't quite well all the ps4 edition in the first 2 batches.

My guess is these are the extras from the people that ordered multiples. They said they would cancel all multi orders

Nope.  According to them on Facebook they didn't sell (around 500 left) - they even removed the one per customer limit.  Cancelled and returned orders going up on sale in a week or 2.

Quite glad they didn't all sell, as it might stop the ebayers buying future releases to try and make a quick buck.

Missed both Vita offerings by mere minutes. Ended up giving some eBay scalper $68 shipped for one - interestingly enough Paypal says "You sent $68.00 to Scumyasf*ck"

When will they ever do this for Wii U games? I don't care for PS4 or Xbox One. I prefer kiddie games over adult games. Mario and all that.

Probably never. The reason why you see all these smaller titles coming out for PS4 and Vita is that Sony allows self publishing for their console and does not require a minimum amount of copies printed. Microsoft and Nintendo both do.

Here is my crude Example: Microsoft may require at least 250,000 (just made up numbers to support my point) and their cut percentage is higher until they exceed 250k, smaller at 500k and bottoms out at 1 million. Regardless if you make 5 copies or 5 million, Sony takes the same cut and doesn't prohibit smaller prints.

This is also why Shovel Knight got cancelled on XB1 for a physical release. Yacht Club didn't think it was financially wise to hit the requirements that Microsoft required for a physical print.

Limited Run Games is negotiating to make a physical copy of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water for Wii U. Although... that's not a kiddie game.
