There is nothing wrong with the Switch.  I just have no reason to buy one.  There is no exclusive "killer app" for me.  I will get one eventually, but at this point I might as well wait for a price drop along with a pack in game or two.

My only point in bringing up my PS4 game count (and I'm pretty sure Sheep and Wiggy provided theirs for the same reason) was to show that there is much more to the PS4 library than FPS's and sports titles.  The PS4 has been one of my favorite gaming systems to collect for due to the large number of unique and fun to play games from all sorts of different genres.  And thanks to companies like LRG, many of them are in physical form.

^^^ this.

LRG is a large part of why the PS4 is so appealing to me.

BadChad:

My PS4 collection is a bit over the 150 mark at the point I beleive, and 90% of it is physical copies of indie games. And I absolutely love it.

Bear78:

I'm at 185 PS4 games and I'd say 85% of them are all indie / obscure games compared to AAA (FPS / Sports / Yearly installment) games.

Saying that, I do own a Switch and it's a fun little console.  But if there is something that is coming to both PS4 and Switch, 90% of the time I'm going to pick it up on the PS4. That increases to 100% of the time if it has online functionality, "switch tax", or requires content download to even have the complete game.

I also own a Xbox One and the only thing I have used it for in years is the Showtime Anytime app and that's only because it's not on PS4... Seriously, one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever spent in gaming.  If you love it, that's great for you, but as someone that owns all the current gen systems, it's a giant paperweight.

100% agreement.  Only bought it for Forza, but it seems they have basically turned the franchise into a "free to play" sort of affair, except that it still costs $60 PLUS whatever DLC cars you might want.  Fuck that console.
