this subject serves as a stark reminder as to why some will NEVER partake in DLC/ltd retail runs... it perpetuates the scam. last generation backs that up 200000000%! got a few ROPG retails, where the extra stuff has to be bought as a separate archive (god/pkg/wad etc) and it's locked to the hardware keys, just to kick me in the spuds! >:( as for those games, i'll NEVER see the true extent of them, unless i RIP the DLC archives from a private tracker. ... i already paid out, it stops there. NO online activations, or mandatory community actions will be endured this side, i don't have a collection by getting involved in the trends. it only makes it worse, and i've voted with my wallet and feet many moons ago. (not that was deluded to think one vote counted. ... no, if anything of the like ends up my way, pure dumb, stupid trailer park trash luck! (still sore at my ps3 collection. even as a retail, the individual games are NOT finished or complete, by virtue of DLC, that can't be unlocked by playthrough/conditions met... ??? :'( |

Not to mention all the day 1 patches. When the servers are switched off, even our physical games are broken if we play them on a new console. |

I want to stay legit but when that happens I wont have any qualms about hacking my consoles then. |

But here I am being impressed when a game does it - what a sign of the times, right? (Granted, most games work well enough, but some, like The Evil Within, need need NEED that day 1 patch in order to be acceptable. Bloodborne is another example - game worked fine as shipped, but loading times have been pretty noticeably decreased after being patched several times, meaning those patches really do improve the experience.) |
