Limited Run Games, putting digital games in your hands

Just went with the Wonder Boy CE for me.
Seeing this is probably one of the biggest releases for LRG as of yet, they probably should have released more copies. I personally don't buy anything from LRG because I want or hope for it to be rare. I simply buy them because as a collector, I want physical copies of my games. Especially being a retro enthusiast, and most of these indie titles are catering to that (my collection of PS4 games at this point makes it an overpowered glorified retro machine). And the guys at LRG started this whole business of the same premise, yet they continue to under cut supply of each release to play it safe basically screwing over the same people they set out to serve in the first place.
And the bundle idea was pretty shady in my opinion, especially being that both games are at completely opposite ends of the table from each other. Not a smart bundle by any means. Hope they come up with a better solution in the future. Selling out immediately shouldn't be their main goal any more. They clearly have all the money they need at this point. More copies should be main priority going forward.

There is NO cart hold. Shopify removed that in January and shifted all sales and stores to a first-to-pay system. Adding the game to your cart does not mean it is yours. You have to pay and complete checkout before the game is considered yours. It can sell out during checkout, so move fast. We recommend loghing into our site and PayPal first to cut down on checkout time.
If you are getting the "Inactive" error from PayPal, completely clear all of your browser's cookies and cache to fix the problem. This is a PayPal issue we don't have any control over.

Tomorrow I'm only going the regular edition PS4 Night Trap. The other game doesn't interest me, and while I'm excited about this game, it's not important enough to me to go for a CE. I have a feeling that it's going to be a mad house like it was last week for Wonder Boy. Good luck to those of us who are going for it.

Fortunately enough for me, I have no interest in anything on sale tomorrow. I need a break anyway, been picking something up from them every week for the past month.

I ended up ordering two copies of the regular edition PS4 Night Trap. This way I'm more likely to get the cover variant I want, and I can trade the extra to a friend who might miss out.
