Pending another announcement, no, there will not be physical Vita releases for either Shantae game. I really wish that Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse would physically come to Vita as I'm a huge Vita fan myself, but it is understandable why that most likely will not happen.
LimitedRunGames is not a developer, and they have no sway over developers to port all their games to all platforms. Although the Vita is more than capable of running both Shantae games with ease, Wayforward has not released either game on Vita.
That means there are no preexisting digital versions to get the physical upgrade that LimitedRunGames offers. In order for that to happen, Wayforward would first need to specifically put out Vita versions of Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse, and since the Vita is a hardcore gamer only platform, it doesn't have the audience numbers in order to financially justify specific development, especially considering at most, there would be something like 4000 copies produced. That's a tiny drop in the bucket.
Then again, WayForward is awesome. Always has been. Who knows? Despite it not making much sense, there just might be physical Vita versions. If that should happen, then I'll be supporting them every step of the way with not only buying them both physically, but also digitally, and encouraging others to buy the Vita version as well.
But even if they don't come to Vita, I'll still be buying them for PS4. Shantae has been one of my favorite characters since I bougtht the original game back in 2002.
