I thought that this would be a nice thread to start. This way we can all stay in touch with Video Game history and celebrate in our own quirky way.

So here it goes:

TODAY IN 1987 NEC releases the first 16-bit home entertainment system, The PC-ENGINE also knows in the U.S. as TurboGrafx-16

'First-Person Shooter' or FPS is the genre of the game, nothing more
