I've always loved thos movies. I rewatched them again (probably for the 100th time) just a few days after the beginning of the year and I'll probably do it again within the next week or so. 

This year, on New Years Day, I was talking about the movie and how it was the year they traveled to in part 2.  Everyone I talked to thought my comment was dumb because "no one remembers those moveis anymore."  Now it's everywhere and those same people think it's interesting to talk about.

I keep on expecting a sequel to be announced. Not that a sequel is needed, but... all the main characters are still alive, and as all of the news coverage demonstrates, the nostalgia is strong with this one.
