I just wanted to give a shout out, and a pat on the back to Segamer.  Since you got access we've had more covers vetted and posted to the site than in the last year.  Awesome work, keep it up!

I still can't get used to the fact that every time I click on the home page, I see a new set of "recently uploaded covers."  It's pretty awesome.  It's also good to know that, at least as far as I can tell, the standards are still extremely high so we aren't just uploading covers for the sake of uploading them.  Nice work all.

There were 1200 covers uploaded to the site. About 5% of those could be posted to TCP  and another 10% were close but needed to be fixed. Everyday (except weekends), I fix a few and get them posted. It still amounts to a lot of covers. I hope the quality meets everyone standards. I do worry that someone's going to say, "Hey, that cover sucks! Why did you upload that!? You're fired!".

I've got a question as I just downloaded a whole bunch of genesis covers to print out, sometimes it looks like 2 of the covers uploaded are hardly noticeably different, is there anyplace where it says why it was uploaded again or just nothing?

Can't say I've closely examined many of the covers you've posted, but those that I have grabbed for personal use are definitely of standard.  This site hasn't been so alive in years.  Keep going, but don't burn yourself out.  I may even get inspired to get my arse in gear and help you out! Lol.

Any in particular?  I know historically pretty much the same cover was uploaded with the Genesis logo in grey, and again in white.  Purely because people wanted uniformity in their collections.

This is what I believe happen with two similar covers because I notice that a lot too. Originally, the Cover Project had lower standards. Many older cover were cleaned and reposted not replaced. When I see a lot of popular covers such as Mario, sometimes the thumb nail looks the same but if you download both, one is usually cleaner.

Always keep in mind that if you just wanna upload a better version of an already exisiting cover you can overwrite the old one.

The site seems more lively since you've become a cover administrator. I look forward to seeing what new covers make it to the main site. The first time I saw lots of my Game Boy covers in "Recent Covers" on the home page, I said "Hey! Those are my covers!" I was so stoked that so many of them got approved for the main site. I had lots of brand new covers the site didn't have and now they're available. Whenever I make a new one, I not only post it in the 3DS forum but I also save a separate jpg image in Photoshop at maximum quality and upload it to the main site for approval. In the past, I was only sharing them in the forums.

You might need to calibrate your monitor. Almost all the cover you've submitted needed their colors corrected. Some of them, I re-scanned and started from scratch because they were over saturated or the blacks were too crushing or the contrast was way off. I actually use four monitors to make sure my colors aren't off. Plus, I'm the person scanning them, so I have the genuine cover in hand to compare it against. Does anyone else feel the colors are off? If so, I'll re-calibrate my monitors.
