Are we working through N64 stuff too, I know Fox doesn't have those cases out yet and I figure they'll all be dun eventually anyway.
I've made 3 N64 covers so far and the template is all set, so they can certainly be made.
And to put the effort in perspective a bit:
It takes more than the efforts of 1-3 people to really get stuff like this out there, and folks need to be interested in what they are doing or they'll go find something else to do pretty quickly. If we assume Shenske's 1000 hour estimate for the NES CGC cover project is accurate (and I believe it is), we are looking at about 3000 hours of work for NES, SNES and N64 Fusion covers. So what we really need is like one or two people interested in each platform and producing covers (based on their collection and requests ideally) to help get to a critical mass for that platform. And what is that? The top ~100 titles? That's looking to be over 100 hours of work for each platform, which again means you need someone who has the time and interest to help get there. To evangelize so to speak.
Unfortunately, I think most of the interest has been on SNES so far, which isn't surprising. Personally, I don't think either the NES or N64 has held up as well as the SNES to age.
@Kaiede - Nice work on the TNG cover! (in addition to Star Wars I am also a big Star Trek fan)
However, your dropbox link seems to be broken now, I can't access any of your covers.
Ugh. So, I've changed my workflow a bit for publishing (because Lightroom does a better job printing with ICC profiles), and it looks like it broke the link. I've changed out the one in my signature which should work and you can use to update the main post.
I'm a big fan myself, but man did typing in the copy for the back of the cover make me cringe. Sounds like a terrible licensed title, just from the terrible name they gave the McGuffin.
