I've decided to take the plunge and get the Mega EverDrive Deluxe Edition! I'm going for a clear case one with a red label and red anodized screws. It was just shipped out 10/26/2015, so I should have it by the end of the week!!! The save states and instantaneous loads are what pushed me over the edge, I think I'll be happy with this for a long time. --- End quote --- Congrats. I'll probably do the same eventually. Right now I can't decide if I want to go SNES or Genesis next. Either way, I have to decide between the more expensive version or the cheaper version. First world problems. :P --- End quote --- My SD2SNES is excellent. I haven't tried the Everdrive, but I liked the fact that SD2 is able to play games that Everdrive cannot --- End quote --- The SD2SNES is definitely tempting since it plays a larger list of games, but I'm trying to decide if the extra games are worth double the asking price of a Super Everdrive, especially since I own about 80% of the enhancement chip games that I would even want to play. The big thing for me is the list of enhancement chip games that still don't work, but MIGHT work in the future. I wish I could see into the future to see if that will ever work out. --- End quote --- Here's some good info on the differences between the SD2SNES, Everdrive, and Powerpak. http://nerdlypleasures.blogspot.com/2015/05/snes-flash-carts-sd2snes-vs-snes.html |
