Quite a few items in that little room.  I do like the shelves though they are basically a perfect fit for the games and movies.

heres the sketch for the cabinets im going to build for the systems.
I dont own all the systems yet but im planning on getting them.
im going to make each shelf for the systems probably 11in height width will vary based on the consoles. so im going to have to get dimensions.

The sketch looks good. Nice to have all the systems set up like that.

Try Google searches.  I've had good luck with that in the past.  Once you do that, provide a list of the consoles you are still looking for.  If I have it (and I probably will), I can measure mine.  I just don't want to measure every single console I have if the specs can be found easily on Google.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

It works for me, but you have to copy the entire link and paste in a web browser.  For some reason, the hyperlink on the webpage doesn't include the entire link and just takes you to the main page.  That's why only part of the link is underlined.

But yes, embedding the picture into the forum would be much easier.  That way you can see the picture without leaving TCP.  ;)

atari 5200 4.25h 15w 13d

i need measurements for
atari 7800
atari jaguar
atari jaguar cd
sega saturn
intellivison
sega genesis model 2 with 32x and cd attached (this might have to go ontop if to tall)
and pong
the reast I own and will measure

I can measure all except 7800, Intellivision and Pong.  But I'm not sure when I'll have time.  We have family over tonight, so it might be another day.

One thing to think about with the Genesis is that a very fun game worth owning and playing is Sonic and Knuckles.  This game has lock on technology which allows you to put Sonic 2 or 3 on top and get extra features.  This makes your Genesis/32x combo even taller.  Throw in a Game Genie and it gets a little crazy.  Plus you can always add a Sega CD and either model will make everything taller (although model 1 will be worse).

Make the top "row" of systems taller than the others.  Besides the 32x tower, you may want a game genie\super Gameboy in a snes, or a supercharger in a 2600 for example, and they eat up a lot of height.  And the intelevision needs extra room on the side, if you ever get the voice add-on. The duo needs room on the side for it's video plug too, if you ever pick one up.

Sorry, I didn't get those measurements yet.  I didn't forget.  I still have a note on my desk to do it.  I'll try to get to it this week.

Ozzy makes some good points though.  Something to think about.

Another option would be to put any tall consoles on the bottom shelf and keep the cables log enough that those consoles could be pulled out and sit on the floor while you are playing them.  Then you don't have to worry about how tall they are.  When you are done, you can slide the console back onto the shelf.

I do this with my Odyssey2.  Since you need the keyboard on the console to select games, if has to be close to you while you are playing it.  So I have to pull it off the shelf everytime I want to play it.
