I got the green Yoshi via the Woolly World bundle. The other 2 are just to keep him company.

Always wanted a Japanese Saturn, saw one for $50 shipped. Came with 5 Ram carts, 1 controller & hookups. Plus them nice little R4 devices for another $25.

Love my JP Saturn.  Best system ever if you are into shmups and Fighters.  Also the JP versions of almost all games is cheaper that the US versions.  I have so many JP games instead of US ones due to the cheapness.

First thing I did was pop in Fire Pro Wrestling 6 Man Scramble  8). I've collected quite a few JP games throughout the years too, always played them via action replay on my US saturn. I love this console, I'm gonna mod the crap outta it too.

Plus, some Japanese games are quite different from their American versions.  For instance, The Japanese version of Fighting Vipers has a secret character called "Pepsiman" (based on the soft drink) that's not in the American version.  I can understand that Sega of America probably didn't have the license for that name, but they could have changed the name and left him in the game instead of removing the character completely and not replacing it with anything.

Also, the Japanese version of Daytona USA Circuit Edition has the music from the original Daytona USA in addition to the remixes, and adds the option to race at different times of day, including night racing.

You're right about Japanese games being much cheaper.  I also think the Japanese CD packaging is more attractive than the U.S. longboxes, and I've always liked the Japanese "Sega Saturn" lettering (on the game cases & discs) better than the American.

Found these today for pretty cheap.  The Resident Evil games are still sealed.

And this arrived in the mail.  I'm going to see if it helps me make better quality replacement labels.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I have that same exact machine! It actually works pretty damn good!

I will tell you though. For labels that wrap over the top of the cart, make sure you pre bend them before sticking them on or it will keep coming off the cart. Hope that makes sense.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

I've got one of those as well. I think Palmer suggested it at one point. Pretty useful little bugger.

I'm officially a trade junkie.

I get what you're saying.  Makes perfect sense.  Thanks for the tip.

First game ever where I actually felt kind of bad when a character who was part of the story was killed. I won't say more about that so as not to spoil it.

Found a few games today.  Been adding Wii games to the collection.  Picked up Link's Crossbow Training (need to print a cover), Metroid: Other M and Redsteel.  Ragnarok Odyssey ACE for PS3.  The best find was Radiant Historia complete in box at Gamestop.  One of the Gamestops in my area still keeps DS cases.  Quick picture http://nerdkrom.blogspot.com/.
