Picked up that nice minty lot of PS1 classics in my neighborhood.
Most if not all seemed like they were never used, not even a trace of finger on discs.

PS1 discs seem like they are either in weirdly great condition or nearly destroyed when you pick them up secondhand.

Great, high quality pickup!

True! It may be only me, but I see a lot of disc only as well.
I guess the fact that they are almost guaranteed to self descruct when you drop them doesn't help. I'm quite happy that later generations learned from that :)

It was the first super populer disc bases system.  People didn't know how to take good care of their games yet.  Most were used to carts that could be run over by a car and still be ok.

For the record, I knew how to take care of my disc based games, and I'm sure many of you did as well.  But most people didn't.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Why is this so true? But really either the disc is scratched to hell or looks like its been played once and put on a shelf.

I can't figure out how discs get scratched to hell.  Even the discs I'm rough with don't look like a bunch of the discs I've seen.
I'm bender3455 on playstation network, feel free to add me!

As a nine time big brother and five time uncle I can tell the answer:
The little idiots leave the discs on the shelf bare or stack them in spindles NO MATTER HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES I TELL THEM TO PUT THEM BACK IN THE CASES!!!

Got the first print run of Hatsune Miku Project Mira DX.  Love this series.  Came with a shit load of AR Cards, and a lanyard.

Lastly 2 new imports.

Man, I wish Wii U and 3DS played imports. Only 1 of each system is enough for me.

TDIRunner, that's awesome!  Don't forget to try and get ahold of the one for the Jaguar as well.  I'll have to go look up the name because it's not made by the same team that does Everdrive, and the guy makes them in batches.  Oh, and there's also one for the VirtualBoy that you could get too called a Flashboy+. :)
