Anybody feel kinda ripped off with this thing?
I Pre-Ordered this and got it last night @ Midnight... Only thing that comes with it is a free dungeon download and a making of disc....

The original LE of Fable was suppose to have:
Game Disc, Making Of Disc, Dungeon Download, Hobb figurine, "Fate Cards", and Soundtrack.

Granted they dropped the price from $79.99 to $69.99.

All the other crap is why I Pre-Ordered the Special One

The Original Fable came with a making of Disc.

Maybe I am just tired and need more sleep....

plan on picking it up later today... but I can only imagine how dumbed down it is.

$10 more for all that stuff they promised would have been awesome.

EDIT:

Wow.. I just watched an unboxing video of the limited edition and there's not extra except a cardboard sleeve and an extra disc + some little pieces of paper...

where's my tin?

I've been noting that pre-order bonuses have gotten worse and worse lately. Of course, maybe I'm just spoiled by how Working Designs used to handle the idea, but something tells me I'm not the only one who thinks a t-shirt and a "Making of..." disc is a little shoddy.

If they even do that much. Most games these days think all they have to do for a pre-order bonus is a cheat code that'll be on the internet less than an hour after the game is released.

hell, at least you got the card for the dlc. some people didnt even get that, because one of the places that was making the packaging screwed up and forgot to include them.

I dislike the majority of FPS games, but that is mainly because they're crap. The Halo series has never done it for me; many of it's "innovations" were done years ago on the PC, and overall I think people say its good because they've been told its good or they just don't know any better games.

On the other hand, anyone who says an unkind word about the Half-Life series will instantly earn my disrespect.

Fallout 3 is not a shooter, and I bet the people who made it would be offended to hear it called one. There's shooting, sure, but it's actually an epic role playing game. It has a first person camera and guns, but the gameplay is modeled after the Elder Scrolls series, not Halo.

I don't HATE shooters, in fact I enjoy a lot of them, but they aren't something that I'd have much of in my game collection.

Also, yeah, Fallout 3 is not a shooter, don't mistake it for one. Calling Fallout 3 an FPS would be like trying to call Metroid Prime an FPS, it just doesn't work.

Fallout 3 also can be played in third person or from an eagle-eye view and uses an enhanced/modified Oblivion engine since it's made by the same company.
