okay so im trying to print a sonic gems collections cover with the staples photo basic paper, and the canon MG6620 printer, and I have read the printing covers thread putting in the right size, and landscape, high quality. it seems perfect on the computer, but when i print, the paper doesn't look exactly fully colour in, has a line showing up, and the ink comes of easily!!!

I dont get what I'm doing wrong here...could it be the paper itself is crap?

Sounds like you are feeding the paper in the wrong side up.  Is it single or double sided paper?

....wow im freakin stupid...it was on the wrong side!!!

okay NOW the results is much better, and now i think i have a better clue on what paper i should actually buy, since staple photo basic gloss paper is more reflective than the original cover. I guess i need either semi gloss or matte gloss, or i could just buy that red river 50lb paper, would cost me 50$ though since im in canada :/

The resolution is a tad lower than I'd want, but the quality is amazing

what size specifically? the 50lbs one?

also, i currently have "letter" photo paper from staples it seems and it keeps showiing up as too small for the gamecube case, is there anyways to upsize  it on the paper without losing quality? or do i actually need A4?

Outside of budget printers, the paper matters much more than any other variable.  I use a Canon Pixma pro 100, and makes some really high quality prints for my collection.  Just make sure to get refill kits, because the ink prices are at liquid gold rates.

Also, Red River Paper is great, as other's have said.  Otherwise get 4 or 5 star Epson presentation paper.
