I'm thinking of printing labels for all the games in my collections, and i know that red river 5B is a good type of paper to use for case labels, but I don't know whats a good type of label paper to use for nes, snes, sega genesis, 32X and N64 labels. So whats a good printer to use for all of these? laser or inkjet? and what type of model and brand for  that said printer should I buy?

Are you talking about labels (I've the sticky things on carts) or inserts?

I use, and quite like the prints my Kodak printer prints. I use it for inserts and cartridge labels. But when doing labels you don't want them to smear. There are many remedies for that, but almost everyone is going to have a different answer so it ends up just being a toss up on which one you would want to use. Wiggy uses a type of printer with dye sublimation for labels and they due turn out real nice. Though I use an inkjet Kodak printer and my labels turn out real nice too.

Set about 20 different photo printers around you in a circle, close your eyes, spin around really fast, point in front of you, and whatever printer you're pointing at works best.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Inkjet, better colors at reasonable price.

IMO I wouldn't get a laser printer. They are nice, but not really worth it. I'm not a fan of HP, Lexmark or Epsom. But I do like Canon and Kodak.

Edit: had to fix my printer brands, I got confused.

And just ^ this

That's my opinion

A better question would be "which paper(s) is/are best suited for XXX job?"

Spend a few hundred bucks on any decent brand printer and you'll be fine. But the paper makes all the difference in the world.

This.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Okay inkjet and canon brand. Okay any specific model you guys would recommend, I see some at staples right now and I see , MF216N, MB2020, PIXMA MX532, MX429,  and MG6620.

Also is there such a thing as 5B label paper for the retro cartridge games?

I'm a big fan of the Pixma line.

You looking for pre-cut sheets, or just straight liner paper? (Adhesive-backed)
