Too bad it only plays Japanese DVDs and games. The Panasonic Q, I mean.

Actually, I bought my Q modded. It has a nice little red Mod Switch on the bottom that, when pushed, switches the console into American Mode. Haha.

It's modded to play Japanese games, and DVD's, American games, however, it's not modded to play American DVD's for some reason.

I have to say that the Panasonic Q is pretty high on the list of ugliest consoles ever made.

you are kidding right?

It's certainly individual, but I wouldn't call it ugly.  Better than the gamecube.  Nintendo in general aren't very good at console design (apart from handhelds) the only NICE looking console they've released is the Euro/JPN SNES.  The US version looks very.......odd.

Wait, wha?

It's a beautiful system. The mirror finish, and the design is awesome. The look on peoples faces when they look at it, they're like "What is that!" It's a nice looking console.

To each their own I guess.

I like the color, I'll give it that. Very sleek.

I hate the sheer... bulkiness of it though. It looks like the design was inspired by a frikkin' boiler.

of course, as you said, to each his own.
