Hi! Been lurking for awhile now, been sort of obsessed with making cases for my old games. So glad to have finally signed up. I thought the best introductory post would be to share my collection. I don't have any up to date pictures cause I'm lazy. Lol

I recently bought some matte picture paper to make some better quality covers, also I'm leaning towards the double sized DVD cases to make cases for my nes games. Another thing I want to do is case up my old game boy games. So I have a lot of fun stuff to look forward to!

Yes! Thats where I'm planning to get the gameboy cases, but their NES cases weren't available the last I checked.

I finally got some pics of my whole collection thus far, minus the NES games.

His NES cases should be back in stock pretty soon.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

So, this is what I get for trying to be cheap.

I looked around on ebay for some cheap DS cases for my GBA games. I bought a pack of 12, and when they arrived I could tell they were really cheap and flimsy. Also, even though they had the slot for GBA games, a GBA game couldn't fit in it properly without modification. The bit of plastic on the front flap actually would prevent the case from closing all the way when a GBA game is in it. Talk about a design oversight. So, I went ahead and cut away the bit of plastic, it's the same bit of plastic that would prevent GBA manuals from fitting in the Nintendo branded cases, so now, not only can I put a GBA game in it, I can put a manual in there as well.

That wasn't the only issue either, the cases were were longer than the name brand cases, so I decided to resize the covers I used. Ended up being ok as you can see in the picture. But between the crappy quality with the cases, and the covers ending up a little blurry (not sure if its from resizing, or just my printer), I'm tempted to spend the money on better cases and remake all of them.

I second Arseen's suggestion.  I got those cases for all of my GB/GBC/GBA games, and they are really sturdy.

It's not that I'm not going with his cases, if the cheap ones I bought worked I would still need them for GB-GBC games. I was just trying to be cheap. lol

Also, it looks like his gameboy cases are out of stock now too. lol

Yep, I'm (pretty much) out of stock on the blank gameboy cases, they are in the same container as the NES and Genesis cases heading my way now. :) So 2-3ish weeks and they will be back online.  8)

Yep, beside the shape of the cart holder and the fact that you don't have to modify them to fit the manuals, you can't tell the difference. Excellent cases!
