I love the NES. It was my first video game love. Always been a Nintendo fan over all other consoles. Also, it would be funny to show people Halo playing on an NES. --- Quote from: Polygon on September 10, 2015, 07:33:05 AM ---Sure, it's possible. However, it would be easier to modify something or make an enclosure to accommodate the internal power supply from the XBox. --- End quote --- You think so? I was trying to figure out which way would be easier. They have ways to use ATX PC psu's on the Xbox too. If there are any 360-like PC power supplies that are that small and external, that would work too. |

If I recall, the original XBox uses a standard molex style connectors for everything. It would be as simple as lengthening the cables, crimping new ends on and possibly sleeving the cable to make it look nice. |

Ok, you just reminded me of why I wanted to use the 360 supply. I want to have a nice, easy way to disconnect the PSU, and unplugging the big molex plug would be about impossible from the outside. Thought about putting a new socket and cord on it, but I dont know what would work. |

The only thing I don't like are the grooves because I need qtips to really clean the dust out of them. I like my Xbox One but the sheer size of the thing is offensive. It's a big lard ass of a console. --- End quote --- The size of the Xbox One always takes people by surprise. I had mine set up next to my PS4 and when I had people over who hadn't seen an Xbox One in person, they always assumed that the Xbox 360 E must be the X1. The styling does have similarities, I admit. But I do find it interesting how put off/in disbelief people are by the size once they find out which one is which. |
