Yup I've done a couple of them.

Emulator and Youtube.
Now I do it by hooking up my Polymega to my capture card.

Thanks for all the advice, even if I kinda already had those in mind.  :-\

But while the topic's on sources, might as well share some good sources for promo/cover art I've found, for posterity:
The Video Game Art Archive blog https://videogameartarchive.com/
VGDensetsu on Twitter/Tumblr (twitter.com/VGDensetsu, https://vgdensetsu.tumblr.com/) (harder to sort through; sorted by artist, not game)

And for Sega stuff specifically:
Sega Retro/Sonic Retro segaretro.org, sonicretro.org (tons of scans, occasionally clean art/screens ripped from old FTP servers and press discs)
The official Sega Forever twitter (https://twitter.com/SegaForever) has been posting super clean art on & off for the past few months.

Also, Satakore.com for barcodes/game info.

And here's a cover I whipped up from some new finds:

Die Hard Arcade

(found the front art clean on Sega Forever, realized the inlay background was just a zoomed-in section of the same piece, and everything else fell into place!)

That is great, but the Japanese cover is sooo much better:

It is, but there is always an opportunity to make an alternative cover.

Here is one I did yesterday... posting this from my phone as anything video game related is blocked on my work computers.

I will try and get the rest of the covers posted tonight. And let me know when you’ve finished the other covers you’ve been working on so I can get that posted as well.

After weeks of work, my Shining Force project is finally complete!! ;D

Shining Force III: Scenario 2 - Target: Child of God

Certain screens from French RPG site legendra.com

Shining Force III: Scenario 3 - Bulzome Rising

Plus... a custom quad-case Complete Pack! (text/screens pulled from SF3 Translation Project's custom DVD Case)

And with that, I'm gonna take a break from these for a little while. Maybe focus on playing games instead of making boxart for them. ::)

No, the Sports Edition is just a black/grey stripe rather than white/grey. So if you grab that image I linked to and pop it in your template you'd be all set to go. I made a SE of World Series II, but if you still have the raw work files, it will probably look better if you still post them.

I don't have the Sega and Saturn logos with the black background, so what I'll do is post the WSB files with the white striped background switched off. You should be able to slip the black striped template right underneath it.

Did you download the template on the first page? It should have a separate layer for the Saturn Logo.

Die Hard Trilogy by: marioxb

Hey, I didn't do this cover, it was Lazermutt4. But I can scan my Japanese version whenever I find it. Also, it's Die Hard Arcade. Trilogy is a different game.

LOL, but you still didn't change the name to Die Hard Arcade!

Another weekend dump!

Sonic 3D Blast (back adapted/stolen from TyrannicalFascist's Poly Case)

Linkle Liver Story

And since I'm already taking credit for it...  ;)
Die Hard Trilogy

(a quick PS1 conversion from Shenske's Poly Case, though rearranging all the legal text was harder than you'd think)

Also, Thor, I'm giving the OK to hosting my stuff on your new site.

I'm adding the Die Hard Alternative to the main page.
Bascally as I work on the website I will be adding these to the first page to save myself some time. It's taking a lot of hours to build the site, but I'm still working on it.

Since the website is going so slowly I am adding the other posts in right now. It will take me a bit, but I have added all the Shining force cases.

I'm adding the Die Hard Alternative to the main page.

Dude, it's not an alternate, it's A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME! One is an arcade game from Sega called Die Hard Arcade. The other is, again, A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME, made by Fox, Die Hard Trilogy. Nothing alike, whatsoever.
