If you say so! ;)

In the Hunt
Gave Hundo's cleaned-up PS1 cover a Saturn makeover (http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=25766.0)

Dragon Force
Found a goldmine of art for this one on Sega Retro, plus it's Working Designs, so loads of options

STANDARD: standard spine, no WD text

Last one for now, and it's a big one! :o
Sakura Wars

Regular-sized variant (kinda pointless, but It's done; could be used in one of those double-tray cases... :-\)

Panzer Dragoon added to the first page. I wanted to go with the JP style cover for this one as the US and EU covers were ugly.

GEX (another quick PS1 glowup)

Also, spent the past week finishing up all the Working Designs-published games.
One of the only times the inlays were easier due to hassles in sourcing cover art. Found 'em, but it was way harder than usual.
Here's 2 right now: one new, one remade to add all the new bells & whistles. (cleaner art & genre text; space-aligned text on the rear)
The other 3 will be up later (tomorrow at latest), along with a link to a big archive of all 5 for easier download (Sega Ages was already done by Thor)

Shining Wisdom

Pedantic Variants: (same as regular plain w/no genre text)

I've split off the Sega CD/CD32X covers to a new thread here.

Also,

When I get a chance I'll get all of these added to the database.

tjsynkral, could you download this file https://www.dropbox.com/s/4gff58l6y4bmu8y/SE.png?dl=0 and do an alternative Sports Edition). I made the option for all sports titles to have the black background like they started to do with the Dreamcast back in the day.

Do you have a full template of the blank sports cover?

Back with another weekly dump!

One simple PS1 conversion…
Arcade’s Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 1

And the start of my biggest project yet!
Shining Force III

Reversible Inlay

And a variant for its fan-translated remaster…
Scenario 1: The Titan of Aspia

Reversible Inlay

(Backs are identical except for adding "Scenario 1" to the spine

Scenarios 2 & 3 are WIP but may be quite some time.
In fact, I’ve hit a bit of a wall on them, mostly stemming from the fact that I haven’t played Shining Force at all.

What’s done:
Front Covers: Complete on both
Inlays: Backgrounds, Legal text, Ratings set for both, rough draft text on Scenario 2
What I’m missing:
-Screenshots
-Character Art (easily sourced, but no clue who should get the spot)
-Text (In progress, but I can focus on that easier once the images are settled)

So, I’m looking for some suggestions:
  • Where can I get some good screenshots?
  • Which characters from SF3 Scenarios 2 and 3 should go on the back cover? (2-3 max, e.g. Scenario 1 features Medion and Basanda. Name some names and I can do the rest.)

No, the Sports Edition is just a black/grey stripe rather than white/grey. So if you grab that image I linked to and pop it in your template you'd be all set to go. I made a SE of World Series II, but if you still have the raw work files, it will probably look better if you still post them.

I usually just google (Game name) screenshots... but I also use this resource http://www.vgmuseum.com/saturn.htm

Where can I get some good screenshots?

In order from hardest to easiest:
1. Boot up real hardware with a good capture card and capture your own screenshots from the real game
2. Same as #1, but with an emulator instead.
3. Find a "longplay" video (with good picture quality) on YouTube and grab snapshots from the video
4. Find screenshots on Google.
5. If the box scan is good enough, you may be able to get away with reusing the original screenshots, especially if you're downsizing to a smaller cover than the original.
