Resident Evil HD and Resident Evil Zero HD will be bundled on disc for PS4 and Xbox One under "Resident Evil Origins."
Early 2016.  It is about damn time!

Also, there is an added "Wesker Mode" for RE 0 in which you play as Wesker and Rebecca, however Wesker has all of his abilities from RE5 - which I assume would make the game ridiculously easy.

I'd be willing to buy that. Thing is, I'm running out of space on my xbox one.

One I f my good friends just put a 2TB SSD in his xbox one, I should prepare to do the same. 500 gig drive... What a fucking moronic move...

Wait.  Is this the REmake that just came out last year?

This is both the REmake from last year AND Resident Evil Zero HD bundled together.  Probably on one disc, but definitely in the same case.  So yes, this is double dipping for anyone who bought it before, but $20 for a disc version of Zero isn't bad.

As for the hard drive, I recently added a 4 TB external harddrive.  It basically just plugs into the USB in the back of the unit and sits there.  Granted, mine DOES need its own power outlet (which for me is not a problem) however the smaller ones (2 TB and under) typically don't.

You can set it so it automatically downloads and loads from the external upon booting up, and (if it is unplugged) will automatically switch back to the internal HDD (and then back again if you plug it back in).  Games also boot *slightly* faster

I currently have 30 disc based games installed, every single games with gold title released for xbox one, and a handful of other downloaded titles all installed at the same time...I have used approximately 1TB.  So for now this is plenty of space.  I got it for ~$110 on Amazon

see here for the exact posting...

That would be nice, I don't plan on doing it anytime soon. I doubt I'll need 5TB though. Not enough good games to justify that much space. I'll prolly go for a high speed 2TB HHD just because SSD's are so expensive.

Just out of curiosity, how big are average PS4/XBox One games?  How does that compare to PS3/360 games?  Am I correct in saying that current gen games are on Blue Ray discs (even Microsoft)?

Games vary greatly.  20-40 is the average for disc based games I have played.  Some big games like Halo Masterchief Collection are upwards of 60GB.  Batman Arkham Knight was like 45 GB.  Watchdogs was 20ish I think.
As for last gen, most of my 360 games installed about 6GB on the hard drive.
And yes, they're all blu now.  Xbox will even play blu ray discs (with a downloaded ap)

I'll make it a little simpler. I've got about 15 games on my system and I'm over 90% full on the 500GB drive.

Also, a big note! My xbox is only used for games and watching movies/shows. So the only apps I have are the Blu ray drive app, YouTube, and netflix. Everything else is games.

When you look at that trend (going from avg of 6GB to avg of 30GB in one generation) you can see why people will eventually need 5TG drives or larger, especially since more and more games are going digital.

It would be fun to put a chart together of all of the different console generations and, for each generation, have an average game size along with a range of smallest to largest.  I think it would be really interesting to look at those trends as they get bigger from generation to generation............. or maybe it would just be interesting to me.  I'm a nerd and a numbers guy. :P

And remember to include the space DLCs take.

There are definitely more than 5 that I like.

But keep in mind, we are still less than two years in to the console life, 22 months in.  Looking back at this point in the 360's life, the only really stand out games were Dead Rising, Saints Row, Oblivion, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, F.E.A.R., Gears of War, The Darkness and Bioshock.  And I wasn't a fan of Dead Rising or Oblivion.  There were others that garnered some attention here and there, but these were the only titles that really went on to become something.
It wasn't until right about the 2nd birthday that we got Halo 3, Mass Effect, Modern Warfare, Rock Band and Assassins Creed - all franchise spawning games.  While I have my doubts, I am hopeful we will see some killer new IPs soon.
