I actually prefer it. I can't stand flip open designs. They always feel flimsy and top-heavy :-\

True, but of all flip open design I only hate the SP

The part that bothers me in the 2 screens being on the same plane instead of having an angle between them. And the 2 screens being different sizes.
No doubt about it seeming more sturdy though.

Yeah, the different size thing is sorta odd now that you mention it, especially when you consider that the 2DS is just ONE LCD ;)

I forgot to post this ealier. I found a Guncon 2 at Goodwill for $6. It included the composite video cable and original box. The game wasn't with it, but I found Time Crisis 3 and Dino Stalker elsewhere. I tested it last night. I'm pretty impressed with how accurate the gun is, especially for Time Crisis 3. Fantastic game. I just have to get used to the cover mecanic since I've never played a light gun shooter with that feature before.
