It uses Gameshark codes, so you should be able to use those if you can find em.

I hoped it would since the menu was identical to the menue used on the Gameshark for my PS1.

Sold these new back in the 90's.  They never came sealed

Good to know.  Even if it had been opened, it clearly hadn't been used.  Very happy with it so far.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Just found a label that Shenske made.  This label is about a 1000 times better than the label that came with it.  I think I'm definately painting mine black and  use this label.

Just so you know. There is someone selling black shells for.this on eBay if you would rather do that. Has the original sticker on it already. I just bought a black action replay myself and I blame you for that!! Lol.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

I remember seeing black Action Replay's but I couldn't find any at the time I bought mine, plus I liked the the idea of getting a new one through Amazon for as cheap as it was.  I can paint mine black with pretty much no effort, so I'll probably do that.

I had a local thrift find today I am pretty happy with.
Lately I have been in to CIB consoles, and I found a PS2 $30 and Atari FLashback $10

The Flashback is nothing special - it is what it is, cool to have since I stupidly gave my Atari away years ago.
But the PS2 is immaculate.  The box has some wear, but the system and controller don't look used at all.  There is hardly any dust or dirt on either of them, and they are virtually scratch free.  There is one single scratch along the expansion cover (I think it was leaning against something metal in the display case) but that is easily swapped out since it is detachable.  The styrofoam and system manual were also in the box and in really good shape.  The store also threw in a memory card and multitap that were laying around.

Nice find.  Something about having the box just makes it a little extra special.

I had me a birthday a few days ago, so...

PS4:
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin
God of War 3 Remastered

A small pan. It is exactly the right size to cook a single serving of ramen noodles at a time! I think it was a 'you are poor' joke, but hey, I like ramen noodles, and a box of noodles was included! :P

NES cartridge flask.

Carrying bag and 1/4" adapter which came with -

- these headphones. They are better than what I was using before! Interesting fact - Sony has been selling this exact model since 1991, and they are still making new ones.

Had a pair of those at one point. Wore them til the foam pads rotted away (which was a long time).

You know what they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Just got Back to the Future part 2 and 3 for the NES CIB.  I'll scan this later in the week once I have the box properly flattened for scanning.

Ordered a western digital my book 4tb hard drive for the xbone. I almost went with something smaller, but 4tb seems to be the amount where you get the most memory for your dollar and I don't want to worry about running out again for a very long time.

The nice thing about this hard drive is that it supposedly loads games faster than the stock 500gb of internal storage. This link influenced my purchase: http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/11/the-best-xbox-one-external-hard-drive

This is the external HD I use for my X1 as well.  I really enjoy it!  Just make sure that you change your harddrive settings to automatically save/load/boot from the external, not the internal.  That way you get that speed boost as well as the extra storage space.

Nice, I'll check that out. Do you need to redownload all the content on the external hard drive to take advantage of the speed boost or can you just change the settings and it's instantly faster?

You need to transfer everything to it.  Luckily, that is WAY faster than redownloading it.  Just press the menu button over a title and select either copy or transfer to new HD, transferring will actually remove it from your internal HD saving you steps later on.
And don't get me wrong, there is a boost.  But it's nothing super fast.  Like, maybe a few seconds faster than normal.

I heard somewhere that it takes like 2 weeks to transfer stuff to a new HD....at least thats what my really close friend who works on computers told me...
