Actually got around to updating this myself today. Blew through half of the challenges for Shovel Knight and got a start on the Plague Knight campaign. And also found the perfect use for this NES30 Bluetooth controller from 8Bitdo I bought a few month back that's been collecting dust!

This is how you play Shovel Knight on the Wii U! ;)

So, I bought this cool display unit off eBay.  It works great, the headsets are real and current gen, and looks great in my game room :)

I'm impressed that it still has the touchscreen and headphones. Most display units have all that stuff stripped out. This will let you try out all your headphones before choosing which one to use, every time :P

It cost me 220.00 with free shipping.  I looked up the cost of the headsets, and 2 of them are in the 120.00ish price range, one is 65.00ish, and the last is 40.00ish.  I felt like I made out pretty good :)

Not really much of a pickup, but I managed to find Golden Sun at the local retro shop.

Not a pick up per say but finally got around to modifying the white gba I got a while back.

While I love my NES sp, I much prefer to hold the original gba.  Backlit screen and glass lense ftw

I didn't even knew there was a glass lense option. This would be my optimal setup too.

Haha, I'm doing the 101 and glass screen for someone right now. It's even a white model as well. I put the 101 screen in my NES model SP and I love it. But I'll be doing this on my original GBA soon as well because I agree, it's so much better to hold than the SP.

Oh I forgot i went to my local super market today and noticed they had Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 stuff with 25-50% discount... so I spend just under 180 Euros on the spot.

My small loot:

amiibo 3 pack -- I didn't knew, but the G&W amiibo comes with a total of 4 different shapes as you can see in the 2nd picture (hidden under the amiibos)
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
Duke Nukem Forever
