Finally got mine in black!

Nice.  I guess I should have looked a little harder for one in black, but I really hate that label anyway, so since I'm going to replace the label, it's not too much trouble to paint it black anyway. :D
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I also noticed that the label shows what looks like an indicator for switching between 1M and 4M RAM expansion (mine is the same way).  I'm guessing that's for an older model that didn't switch automatically, and had a small switch on the side that had to be selected.  You would think they would update the label for that, but oh well.

Doesn't need to switch. Same as the RAM on anything else.  Same goes for the official 1mb and 4mb RAM carts. If you have a 4mb, then there's absolutely no need for the 1mb.

It's just a wretched, terrible label design

So I bought it :)

And a whole mess of clearance items while I was at it.

Nice, welcome to the dark side. Check out Rare Replay for Xbone.

Already ordered a copy.  That is the only other thing that really made me want a Xbox1, but by itself wasn't worth taking the plunge. Forza 6 tipped the scale ;)

I'm getting closer to taking the xbone plunge too.  Fora does look fantastic, and nothing comparable on ps4.  Drive club was/is a mess.

Have they said when the next Gran Turismo is set to hit?

Before 2017! :P

There's been a few stories recently about Polyphony going on a hiring spree (which some take as proof they are doubling down on finishing it), and there was an interview with Kazunori Yamauchi where he said basically that '2017 was too long to wait until'.

So... to answer your question, no, they haven't, but probably sooner rather than later.

I do hope it's worth the wait, because Microsoft has made something like 4 Forza games since Gran Turismo 6 came out.

Hey it's all personal preference. No judgements here.

Pretty much what Wiggy said.
But since I'm not really a fan of either label that's been made, I think I'll just leave it the way it is. As of right now, I don't need to use it anyway. I've been wanting to get the Jap Castlevania SOTN but just haven't broken down to spend that much cash yet.

I was told that some of the games designed for the 1MB RAM expansion will have graphical glitches if running on the 4MB RAM cart.  That's why I thought this cart was able to automatically switch between 1MB and 4MB as needed.  But I might be wrong about that.

As like a computer though, it should allocate ram when needed. I'll hook up the Saturn tomorrow and see how games run with it before I get rid of most of my games for it.

What are you doing with your Saturn games?

I'm so done with GT. used to love that series, but it just got way too serious and way too difficult without reason. It's a video game, not a real car. It should act as such. If it felt like and responded like a real car, then that would be fine, but expecting someone to drive with the perfection which that game demands without there being ANY real world feedback is just insane.

Forza seems to have much more 'pick up and play' value than Gran Turismo... but with all of the assists off, they didn't seem that different when it came to the actual driving.

Forza 5 though, either changed something behind the scenes or I got way, way better at only that game, because I was winning far more in that game than in previous games in either series. Haven't played 6 though, so I don't know how it compares.

Got an unexpected rebate check from my car the other day.  Debating what I want to buy with it.  My gut says PS4 because I know that between Sony and MS, Sony has my heart (I'm a Nintendo fanboy at heart, but setting that aside...) since I don't play FPS or Sports games and that's where MS has always shined.

But dat Rare Replay doe...

Who am I kidding?  Check this spot in a week or two for my shiny new New 3DS I'm sure  ;)

I put my vote on your guts side. Unless you have your heart set on one of the Xbox One exclusives, the PS4 is overall better in lots of little ways. Not that the Xbox One is bad, just... slightly less good.

New 3DS is also good though. Also better in lots of little ways than its only real competition... the Old 3DS :P

I completely disagree.  I have both, and 99% of the time I go for Xbox.  This is a conversation for another thread, the the PS4 slight graphic capability does not make up for the absolute dreck that is the dash board.  And don't get me started on the touch pad feature.
Anyway.  Different thread.
