Sorry if the topic title seems vague; wasn't sure how to properly word it. I suppose the real question to be asked here is what does everyone here think about the lack of use that the New 3DS' hardware seems to be getting? Back when they first released it, Nintendo was talking about the N3DS having superior hardware to the standard 3DS, boasting better processing power, among other things. It's been around six months since the NA release (nearly a year since it initially launched in Japan), and we're not really seeing much of that superior hardware being used to make N3DS exclusive titles.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the only N3DS exclusive to fully take advantage of the hardware so far has been Xenoblade 3D (and maybe The Binding of Isaac, if the eShop pic is correct). Even newer titles that have yet to come out seem to still be limited to the older 3DS models' hardware. I'm pretty sure that even the Hyrule Warriors port is gonna be limited to the older hardware; hopefully I'm wrong as a game like Hyrule Warriors would definitely benefit from extra processing power.
What are your thoughts on this?
