Long time lurker here, I've used lots of info from this site! I started collecting about 7 years ago mostly to rebuild some things I had as a child, as well as to get a few things that I always wanted and never had. My primary focus is on NES, but I like some of the odd stuff like the Virtual boy and whatnot, even though I was a Sega fanboy when I was younger. Got in to PC gaming in middle school/high school, so didn't really do anything console wise from the late 90s until a few years ago. Anyway, here's what I got!

main shelves:

further in, most of my NES stuff. The carts on top are my unlicensed and then 5 i picked up yesterday at a pawn shop. Shelf is running out. about 6 more game gear games I haven't cased up yet are to the left of the 3 cased up ones.

better view of some of the gameboy stuff, a pacman toy, and a goldeneye 007 watch I ordered somewhere online (had another I wore until a few days ago, lost a pin)

main man cave area:

(I broke my laserdisc player, so if anyone wants to send me a working one...  ;D )

some "storage" behind the chair

I bought my house from my great grandma, and I think my cousin used to have an atari. I found this in an old desk in the garage, and thought it was neat

Where I usually spend my late evenings

storage and a sega poster. The cabinet is full of computer stuff and some game stuff (an extra nes or two, etc). Bins on top are controller storage

workout room that doesnt get used much, tv and xbox for watching videos on xbmc or playing all the emulators

My other passion, aside from working on cars:

Moving upstairs!

not as much up here, but I have the a modded wii and an ouya hooked up

some old dvds, wii controllers, unused xbox

and my NES 360. I had a red ringed 360 and a buddy with a bad dvd drive, so I made one good one and never had issues after, but I figured I might as well paint the case

And that about ties it up. The wii and both original xboxes are modded, so 99% of my retro play is on an xbox. I plan to get some UGCs next spring and start boxing up my NES, SNES, and Genesis games, and I still have a handfull more DS cases for some of the game gear and possibly TG-16 games.

EDIT: some of my pics got cut off but I'm not home anymore so I'll update when I get back false alarm, missed an image closing tag lol

Nice Man Cave. Welcome to the cover project. Looks like you have a lot of games to cover.

Really love that swagtastic Mega Man print.

And I never use the word "swagtastic."

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm not quite ready to order cases and get covers going yet, but I have a question: is there a compilation of minimal/white covers anywhere? I print a lot of my own, and the less ink I can use the more I can print. If not I may come up with some of my own, but figured I'd ask. Thanks again guys!

I forgot that I had started a thread here! I completely rearranged and made a dedicated game room shortly after posting originally. Here is my most recent update. The only thing missing is the protoman that is symmetrical to Megaman, he fell down and I have to get a new hook.

Oh, and the plan was to case and cover all the cartridges this spring but we had some financial issues so hopefully tax time next spring! Still wanted to share though

psych0matt, nice set up!  What's the NES game you have in the case near Goldeneye?  I've been looking for some good shelves for my retro room when I buy a house.  Are those cube shelves from Ikea maybe?

They're just cheap cube shelves from menards, most likely the same or at least pretty similar to ikea, 12" cubes. I don't remember exactly where I picked this game up, but I'm pretty sure it was at a pawn shop for under $10 around 2012-2013
